Scared of the Dark

I’m scared of the dark;
of the darkness inside.
The rotten mass of questions,
imagined possibilities,
of scarlet liquid endings.

I’m scared of the pain;
of the pain inside.
A memory not yet erased,
a reality not imagined,
the invisible incision not healed.

(Third verse added by Skint Writer)

I'm feeling the love;
of the light inside.
The pure peace of being,
beyond sham imagination,
the true bliss of life smiles.

Hope you don't mind. I added your third verse to the original post. Of course you are credited! Thanks for taking the time to do this. And for reminding me that even when things are scary where I should look for the silver lining.
